The 8/8 Lion’s Gate lands in the friendliest pocket of the week.
The week opens rough.
The Moon runs hard against some of the system’s biggest players, and the opening stretch comes in crowded and abrasive. Competing pressures and very little clean space between them.
There is friction here, but it does not hold at the same level all week.
By Thursday, the field starts loosening. Friday carries considerably more movement and support, and the weekend lands in a noticeably easier pocket.
Which brings us to August 8.
August 8 carries its usual Lion’s Gate attention, and this year the surrounding conditions happen to be unusually supportive.
There is more flow through the system. Connections form more easily. Movement that was grinding earlier in the week has room to breathe, and several supportive currents overlap through Friday and Saturday.
It is not perfectly clean.
There is enough Neptune in the mix to keep appearances slightly slippery, and some of what looks promising may still need time to prove itself. But compared with the pressure on either side, the weekend is genuinely lighter.
Underneath that relief, another current is running.
The South Node remains tightly connected to Regulus. Old authority, pride, rank, and positions that have outlived their integrity remain under pressure.
Mars with Polaris pull from the other direction: orientation, conviction, and the ability to hold a line when there is actually something worth holding.
Then the atmosphere starts changing again.
By Sunday, the cleaner weekend flow starts breaking apart. The field tightens again through Monday and Tuesday as the Moon keeps waning toward the August 12 eclipse.
The sweet spot doesn’t last.
